On a daily basis, you will:
- Plan, coordinate and prioritize purchasing activities to support projects and maintain good relations with our customers and suppliers.
- Develop and maintain a reliable network of suppliers for various projects.
- Analyze purchase requisitions and prepare calls for tenders for non-standard goods and services, in compliance with company policies and procurement strategies.
- Organize meetings with suppliers, negotiate prices and finalize terms to obtain competitive agreements.
- Manage contracts, including preparation, renewals and enhancements, to ensure long-term value and sustainable supplier relationships.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to optimize procurement processes and support overall supply chain performance.
- Ensure procurement strategies are applied throughout a project.
- Engage in marketing and recruitment.
- Manage delivery schedules.
Requirements:
- Training in procurement or administration and practical knowledge of the legal and commercial aspects of procurement. University degree (an asset) and a minimum of eight to ten (8-10) years of relevant experience or any equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- Knowledge of procurement terms and conditions (Incoterms) and relevant legislation.
- Excellent knowledge of spoken and written French and English.
- Mobility.
